10:00 – Gathering and exhibition of the cars in front of the Roque Gameiro Museum
10:30 – Visit to the Roque Gameiro Watercolour Museum
The only museum in the country exclusively dedicated to watercolour painting. The visits are true journeys through time, filled with stories and challenges for every visitor. Did you know you can choose your favourite watercolour? And that, at the end of the tour, you’ll see live the piece that is moving Portugal?
11:30 – Visit to the Weaving Workshop – Minde Blanket
In this space, you will experience the authentic Minde wool blankets: discover their stories, appreciate the production process, and listen to the clatter of the looms, guided by a real Minde weaver!
13:00 – Lunch: Sabores Únicos Restaurant
Couvert: bread, olives, butter/cream cheese
Starter: grilled black pudding with pineapple and scrambled eggs with farinheira sausage
Main course: oven-roasted pork loin and stewed beef cheeks, served with French fries and sautéed vegetables
Dessert: fruit salad, chocolate mousse, or egg pudding
Drinks: water, juices, soft drinks, house red and white wine, and coffee
14:45 – Guided Tour of the Mira de Aire Caves
The Mira de Aire Caves were elected one of the 7 Natural Wonders of Portugal and are widely known as the largest tourist caves in the country. A visit to these caves is a programme for the whole family, for all ages, and above all, for the explorer that lives inside each of us!
