Classic cars over 30 years old with valid certification will soon be registered in the IMT (Institute for Mobility and Transport) database. This measure addresses long-standing issues during roadside inspections, where many vehicles were immobilized simply because they were not listed in the authorities' systems, despite being fully compliant with the law.

With the data now being shared by the certifying entities (ACP, CPAA, and the Caramulo Museum), authorities will be able to easily identify officially recognized classic vehicles. The new system strengthens the legal and cultural protection of these automobiles and provides greater security for their owners.
