A visit to Castelo de Vide and Marvão promises a perfect combination of history, landscape and authentic Alentejo charm. In Castelo de Vide, the narrow streets, the imposing castle and the charm of the Jewish quarter reveal a town rich in memory and identity, where every viewpoint offers new perspectives over the surrounding hills. In Marvão, the village rises majestically atop the mountain ridge, offering breathtaking views over the Alentejo plains and neighboring Spanish Extremadura, with its impressive castle dominating the landscape.
