Our newest product provides increased assistance guarantees, five building/contents insurance options, and a modular structure of optional covers to enable tailored solutions to our customers’ requirements – whether they are homeowners or renters, living in an apartment or a detached house, insuring a rented property or holiday home.
The recent evolution of remote working and new lifestyles, as well as the extraordinary circumstances we are all currently experiencing, require more comprehensive home insurance solutions, able to anticipate new types of risk and offer relevant assistance services.
This is why the assistance component of Tranquilidade Home Insurance was strongly enhanced with the introduction of new covers - such as appliances, including the replacement of parts, and the continuous digital protection of your data with 24/7 assistance in the event of device or identity theft (for our “green” clients, who have already opted to receive all their documentation by email). The cat or dog civil liability cover comes with free health coverage for your pet, which pays for your cat’s or dog’s vet bills, medication, and hospitalization. Our insurance solution will provide a professional for any repair or household service, and offer the use of a free-of-charge moving vehicle once yearly, should you wish to move. Through our medical and health care cover, a doctor or physical therapist can treat you at home, and you can also have medication delivered to your door.
Tranquilidade Home Insurance goes well beyond protecting your home, and also covers damage to mobile electronic equipment inside and outside the home (e.g., mobile phones, tablets, laptops, cameras, handheld game consoles). Our product includes two unique covers: damages resulting from the theft of sports equipment outside the home (e.g., if your bike is stolen during a mountain bike ride) and the personal belongings of an offspring who is studying and living away from home, within the Portuguese territory.
