MG Fest ’26

The MG Car Club will return to Brands Hatch on 16 August 2026 for MG Fest ’26, which will serve as the club’s official national gathering for the year. The event promises to combine competition, camaraderie and celebration at one of Britain’s most iconic motorsport circuits, reinforcing MG’s historic connection with grassroots motorsport.

The racing programme will be organised by the British Racing and Sports Car Club (BRSCC), with the MG Cockshoot Cup taking centre stage as one of the club’s most emblematic championships. A wide variety of MG models — from Midgets and MGBs to more modern versions — will take to the track in a spirit of close, accessible and enthusiast-driven racing.

Beyond the competition, the event will feature a large display of MG models from different eras, creating a timeline of the marque’s evolution. Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet owners, restorers and drivers, while enjoying demonstrations, autotests and autosolo competitions that will add an interactive and technical dimension to the day.

One of the highlights of MG Fest ’26 will be an attempt to set a new record for the largest number of MG cars on track at the same time, in a mass parade lap symbolising the strength and vitality of the MG community. As part of Brands Hatch’s “Centenary of Power” celebrations, MG Fest ’26 will also stand as a tribute to both the MG legacy and British motorsport culture as a whole.
