The MGU9, MG’s first pick-up, will debut on the global market in Australia.
Based on the Maxus/LDV Terron 9, it stands out with exclusive design, features such as an electric tailgate, the MG Smart Hatch system, and a high-tech interior with a digital cockpit, massage seats, and a panoramic roof. It comes with an independent multi-link rear suspension, a 2.5 turbodiesel engine delivering 215 hp, an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, and 4x4 drive, allowing towing of up to 3,500 kg. At 5.5 meters long, it is larger than the Ford Ranger. Prices range between €29,700 and €34,200, with deliveries expected by late 2025. Its competitors include the Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux, Isuzu D-Max, and VW Amarok.
