On June 5th, MGCP and Santogal organized a Generations Gathering dedicated to MG sports cars – from the iconic MGA to the innovative MG Cyberster. The event started in Alfragide, followed the marginal road, passed through Cascais and Guincho, and reached Cabo da Roca, ending with lunch at the Moinho do D. Quixote.
This first restricted edition featured 3 Cybersters, 1 MGA, 2 MGBs, 2 MG Fs, and 1 MG TF.
The drive symbolized a meeting between MG’s tradition and innovation, bringing together enthusiasts from different generations in a setting of exceptional natural beauty. The colorful and distinctive lineup of vehicles drew attention along the route, sparking curiosity and admiration — from the elegant curves of the 1950s MGA to the futuristic and electric lines of the Cyberster.
The route offered true driving pleasure, especially along the marginal road and the winding roads of Guincho, where each car could express its unique character. The stop at Cabo da Roca, the western most point of mainland Europe, stood as a symbol of the adventurous spirit that has always defined the MG brand.
Lunch at the emblematic Moinho D. Quixote was a highlight of camaraderie and sharing, where participants exchanged stories, experiences, and passions around the MG universe. This inaugural edition marked the beginning of a tradition set to grow with more club member and MG models, keeping alive the emotional and mechanical bond between the brand’s past and future.
