The M.G.C.P. – MG Clube de Portugal, founded on 22.10.1981, was the first single-brand car club to appear in Portugal.
It promotes events known as – Concentrações – that can go from meets, gatherings, rallies to other recreational activities combining sports, cultural and gastronomic aspects. They take place all over the country with at least 4 Concentrações per year, one of which is a weekend.
To this end, the club has been able to count on the support of City Halls that respond to requests for collaboration in the organization of guided visits to places of recognized heritage value, parking / exhibition in places of high visibility and facilities for sporting events (2 per Concentração) which serve the purpose of fulfilling the MG Complete Driver's Criteria that awards the best of each class (Veterans, Sport and Production), in each year of activity, in the sports and Concours d’Elegance aspects. This Driver's Criteria, which exists since 1988, has its own rules of procedure and the main objective is to stimulate the presence of members.
