Message from the Board - April 2026

Dear Members, dear Friends,

As we reach the end of this first year of our mandate leading the MG Clube de Portugal, I would first like to express a deep sense of gratitude.

Gratitude for the trust you have placed in us, for the participation of many members in the Club’s activities, and above all for the spirit of friendship and shared passion that continues to unite all those who appreciate MG automobiles.

When we began this mandate, we were fully aware of the responsibility we were taking on. Our Club has a rich history, built over decades by many members who have dedicated their time, enthusiasm, and effort to making the MG Clube de Portugal what it is today: a reference in the world of classic cars in Portugal.

Throughout this first year, we have worked with three clear objectives: to preserve the spirit of the Club, to strengthen member participation, and to enhance the presence of MGCP within the national classic motoring scene.

We organized gatherings and events that strengthened the bonds between members, took part in relevant classic car events, and sought to modernize and improve the efficiency of the Club’s management through the implementation of new tools. Each of these initiatives was only possible thanks to the commitment of the Board members and associates, collaborators, and, of course, the members who participated in and supported the Club.

I would also like to emphasize that a club is, above all, defined by its people. Beyond the cars, what truly distinguishes the MG Clube de Portugal is the atmosphere of friendship, camaraderie, and shared experiences felt at every meeting, every drive, and every conversation among enthusiasts.

Naturally, there is still much to be done. This first year has also been a period of learning, consolidating ideas, and preparing for the challenges ahead. We aim to continue energizing the Club, attracting new members, engaging younger generations, and strengthening the bonds among all who share this passion.

However, none of this can be achieved alone. A strong club is built through participation, a spirit of community, and the willingness of each member to contribute, in their own way, to the future of our community.

Therefore, I leave you with a simple invitation: stay involved, keep participating, and continue to make this Club what it has always been — a place of friendship, sharing, and celebration of the history of MG.

On behalf of the Board, thank you very much for your trust and support throughout this first year.

We look forward to continuing this journey together.

Octagonal greetings,

Tiago Lousada

President of the Board
