With the announcement of a caravan tour through the Serras de Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park, a smooth ride was guaranteed in which we just let ourselves be carried away by those who know the ground to discover what is best there. And as nothing is more attractive, we challenged a recent Member to join us in Fátima in order to socialize with our other Members who have a regular and known presence in these meetings.
A mid-morning brunch served at the A Gralha restaurant, balanced the time between guided visits to the Grutas de Sto. António divided into two groups. By that time, the TF 160 that was transporting us had already called attention to itself and received all possible help when the safety valve worked to release the pressure existing in the refrigeration circuit, by the way, quite neglected.
Getting back on the road, the next stop was to admire the landscape that we can enjoy from the Montanelas Panoramic Swing if we let ourself be rocked on the Peugeot 103 scooter, which in its swing can show the Serra da Arrábida on the horizon.
Just 6km later, the Terra Chã restaurant welcomed us for a late lunch that guaranteed an exclusive service to the participants and in which the organizers, around the Vice-President Carlos Sousa, made the offer and the raffle of many souvenirs. Once abroad, the group photos were collected by various optics, but especially from those of the already renowned photographer Artur Amorim, after which some headed home and others still passed through the salt mines of Rio Maior.
It was a pleasant journey.
