Dear MG friends
We reached the end of the year with a feeling of having fully accomplished our duty because:
- We managed to organize during the week, a replica of a weekend programme in a vineyard in Alentejo;
- The 169th Concentração MGCP celebrated the club's 38th anniversary at Ota;
- The Members Homage Party brought to the community some less frequent members;
- The Christmas Dinner ended the activities of a year in which we didn’t give up on the relationships with other similar clubs, participating in their activities inside and outside the country.
Moving forward, in the first half of 2020 much work and determination awaits us to carry out the MG EEoTY 2021 – MG European Event of the Year 2021 that will take place in the region of Cascais / Estoril.
So, save the dates:
- 1st JULY 2020 – THE MG EEoTY 2021 ONLINE REGISTRATION OPENS
- 19th to 23rd MAY 2021 - MG EEoTY 2021
At the same time, we have already scheduled the following meetings:
15th February – 170th Concentração MGCP
Visit to the “Fábrica da Pólvora Negra” of Barcarena with lunch at Maria Pimenta, before the Ordinary General Meeting at the Club headquarters.
24th to 26th April – 16th Motorclássico – FIL
1st to 3rd May – 171st Concentração MGCP – Alentejo II
Housed in Beja, the members will be invited to follow an itinerary that will pass through Vila Ruiva, Vilar de Frades, Vidigueira, Cuba, Serpa and Moura in which, in addition to the visit of the historical core, there will be churches and palaces to discover. The olive press and the cellars will not be forgotten either.
31st May – Ride and visit to the 9th Classic Car& Motorcycle Show of Vila Franca de Xira, still commissioned by our member Hipólito Cabaço.
June (date to be defined) – Summer ride and sardines lunch.
