In the year in which the Clube Escape Livre celebrates its 35th anniversary, this second edition of the “Termas Centro Classic Cars” initiative already had the participation of 43 Portuguese and Spanish teams present at the event with a variety of classic and sports cars.
For three days, from September 10th to 12th, the participants, lodged at the Grande Hotel do Luso, had the opportunity to visit the thermal springs of Sangemil for a group photo, Vale da Mó and São Pedro do Sul where, after the guided tour to the Roman and Rainha D. Amélia Spas, the closing lunch was served at the Grande Hotel das Thermas.
With a very pleasant weather, it was possible to enjoy the panorama that Cruz Alta offers from the highest point of Buçaco Mountain and then head to the Paço dos Cunhas, in Santar, after a coffee break at the Montebelo Aguieira Lake Resort & Spa, which has a superb view over the Aguieira dam.
The visit to the Aliança wine cellars and the Aliança Underground Museum, in Anadia, provided a varied and surprising exhibition discovery before the old-fashioned roast suckling-pig dinner, well harmonized with the house wines.
Several members of the M.G. Clube de Portugal were present as: Isabel Tinoco, Luís Antunes, Manuel Morais and Rui Araújo.
